Tried backing up "She's the Man" on two different computers. Used AnyDVD and CloneDVD2; both computers read the DVD, but neither would write to the blank. Tried DVDfab Platinum, and movie copied with no problems. Computer 1: WinXP SP2, Plextor 760. Computer 2: WinXP SP2, laptop with built in writer. Verbatim 16X single layer, latest copies of all software, and selected 8X speed for backup. Movie DVD was clean with no scratches.
Hello. Are you sure you had the most up to date version of AnyDVD, 6.0.3.1? This disk shouldn't have been a problem for the programs. Am I correct that you did get the disk backed up with DVDFab Platinum? Or did you just get it ripped to the HDD?
Put in a blank dvd. After I did, it would kick out after 5 seconds and I would have a coaster. I got 4 coasters between the two computers. I don't recall the message when it crashed.
Now this is using CloneDVD2 correct? It's hard to say what the problem was although it seems to have to do with CloneDVD2 if that's what you used on both the computers and got failed burns.
i burnt this with anydvd and clonedvd2 on a mij maxell 8x burnt at 6x,took 18:43 clonedvd2 didnt have a problem with it for me. it was also at 100% no compression.
i did she's the man with shrink and dvd region + css free running in the backround and just the movie 100% comp no problems at all, you must be doing something wrong!
