make it an ISO file then burn with imgburn heres a guide to make it easy http://webpages.charter.net/bacitup/Guides.htm
thanks for that link, surprised i havent seen it before...its really good. my last question is: if doing dvdfab/shrink/imgburn can you still keep the menus? i thought in re-author mode on Shrink once you drag "title 1" over into the left side of the program, you lose all the menus.
just do full disc backup and check/uncheck what you want, highlighting BOTH the main title and the meun
Interesting, I didn't know there was a way to keep the menu and only the main movie in Shrink. Thanks ZoSoIV, I'll try it next time.
I hate to be a pain but i'm a movie backup rookie, i'm told to use dvdfabhd and vob blanker to backup shootem up and rush hour3,I have no idea where to get them and if I did how to use them,do they cost money or are the freeware etc... please help.
when I go to the dvdfabhd site it had two downloads, one says free dvd the other says dvdfabhd 4.0.3.2 which should I download,I'm still confused about what vob blanker is and how to use it
I downloaded dvdfabhd decrypter and once it finishes the open source what do I do then to get the movie on a blank disc
Hey darcon672 if you are still having problems with shoot em up.You may need to disable the autorun feature on your drive. Some dvds (shoot Em Up Included)have some features that launch automatically when inserted into a pc drive. While showing you cool extra features on the disc it also prevents/disable the rippers from functioning. Also you should alwayslaunch the ripper before inserting the disc. BTW Both AnyDVD & DVDFab 4030 worked.
use this step by step guide http://webpages.charter.net/bacitup/ fixvts is easier to use than VOB Blanker if you want to use it
So I take it so far that for a DVDFab movie only rip, DVD Shrink is not able to process it? If so, looks like DVDFab is going to need another update.
the program updates several times a week fixvts is needed sometimes not always for dvd shrink to run smoothly. thats just the way it goes using freeware
So has anyone tried FixVTS after DVDFab on this movie (3:10 to Yuma) to see if it modifies the movie only rip where DVD Shrink won't say it's too big to process?
I went through the whole process with dvdfabhd decrypter trying to do shoot em up and once it was done when I went to my c drive to burn onto a blank disc I got ( unsupported or image file format
