Shopping around for a tv

    im looking for a good 30' tv that has hdtv and will work well with the new ps3 that is coming out im not sure what to look for or if a standard hdtv will be good enough for the console and im not sure what 1080p means, can anyone help me?

    same for me, I'll have about 1500$ for the ps3 AND a new HDTV television!!! so if someone know about TVs could you answer us please?

    Thanks ya u too, i kinda found out about the resolutions and such and wanna know how much the prices will drop of the 720p and 1080i once the 1080p tvs are being produced. so if anyone else can comment that would be great.

    Don't let price be your only factor! Try to get the most bang for your buck but also make sure your tv will work well in your room. Screen size, viewing distance, viewing angle, and lighting enviroment are all very important factors. Also don't forget about properly matching your source (Cable, Satellight, ect...) to the tv's capabilites!

    The PS3 is limited to 1080i for video games so [bold]CRT[/bold] HDTVs are still a great option since they cost less for the same relastate can reproduce a good 1920x1080i picture for cheap and have no viewing angle issues. They also cost less to own.
