Definitley just wait for the PS3. I have had every console out since Nintendo and you definitley dont want to get XBOX or the 360. You can find all of their games on Gamecube or PS2. And if your not a Halo fan then really dont get the XBOX 360.

[bold]Don't listen to what anyone tells you about you should buy this you should buy that blah blah blah[/bold]

i don't care if u buy a 360 or a ps3, or a ps2 or an xbox. its not our decision on if u should get one or not, just do some research on the games and the systems themself's and determine based on what each one offers or will offer which one is better suited for you. and before someone complains saying i don't know what i'm talking about just bite it, i've had my fair share of consoles, and all has their good points and there bad. as for a ps3, i ain't going to go out and get on no waiting list or anything like that, the only game so far that i would want to play on ps3 is MGS4 and if they make a new Silent Hill game for it then that as well. but right not ps3 will have this and that is just smoke, non-exsistant, so lets wait till the damn thing is reasonably close to launch before you start quoting what's included in it. and besides there's no reason for a 50GB disc for a friggen game. it's called compression, MP4, DIVX, MP3, AAC. etc etc with every step forward the better the compression and decompression gets.

i got an XBOX 360 for my birthday this year, they are extreamly cool. I'm looking forward to the video chat and halo 3. I've had a look at a picture of the back of the console and its basically just got 2 more USB ports than the 360 but who cares! I think sony are gunna take the mic out of the XBOX 360 and they are going to copy all the features the 360 has.

The longrun really is that the only difference each console has a different type of controller really. If I were you, dont wait for the crappy PS3 get the XBOX 360!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yep Im delighted with my 360, If you want the best online play buy the 360 now. If you want the best offline play wait for the PS3

Either Oblivion on the 360 is amazing, SO GET A 360 u wont be dissapointed
    :D

Plus Halo will always be better than any game the PS3 can offer, Huxley looks promising too

you know what bro, do whatever you feel like doing. we can't make you to get one and get dissappointed down the line. i personally like the 360 and other consoles, and i enjoy my 360 very much. if you like any games that are out right now or coming out in the future, then go ahead and buy one but then if you don't like any of them, you are just gonna waste your money. bottomline, do your research before buying expensive stuff like this.

I'd just wait to see what Sony and Nintendo have to offer first. But that's just me.

Your question was about the bugs being worked out. My experience may help you. I bought a core system on the release date. That console quit working after about 20 hours of game play. MS was very good and replaced my system in about a week with a new premium system. That new premium system died after about another 20 hours of game play. I returned that one and MS replaced it with yet another premium. This one has been working for over 100 hours of game play without any problems whatsoever. I'm hoping this third one is the LAST 360 I'll ever need!

I dont know if you are still checking this post, but my opinion has changed. The Xbox 360 STILL has glitches (like a lot of them)WIth my Xbox 360 (whitch is really really new) and Call of Duty game, I can play for a max of 30 minutes of playing time and then 30 minutes of system cool down time :D. If you want to get a system, I recomend the 360 as soon as it comes out with the new chip ( or whatever it is that makes the 360 produce less heat)....I currently use my 360 to heat my house :D.... So ....yea....definately wait

i can't believ everyone says buy a 36o when there are still issues.

Any system that needs a coller or a break after 30 minutes is a pile of crap in my opinion. Those were issues that Sony had 10 years ago on original PS and MS has them now. What a joke.

ive played my 360 for like 4 hours straight, you don't really need the cooler unless your already bored with what you have.

what you forgot the ps2 issues? not to mention why your almost always going to have to replace the lasers in a ps2? ps2 had hell of issues at launch, so don't talk like Sony's Sh!t don't stink, what about psp's w/ dead pixels? come on son, it's part of consumer electronics, products have issues nobody's perfect, and for your info, u don't need a cooler on the 360, i don't have one, and i've had that sum bitch runnin for over 12hours straight before. research before you speak, because kid Sony is far from perfect, now quit flamin in here.

I had a 360 and is the best thing the only problem I ever got was with Halo 2 and that was only one time because the screen had some kind of white sheet when a started a custom game but then it when away when the game ended. I returned my 360 because not all of the games for xbox are playeble on the 360 yet and the only games I could play on it were Halo 2, Fable, and Ninja Gaiden. I love those games but I wanted to play Kindom Under Fire: Heroes and I was not able to, so I got stuck with halo 2. All I have to say is that if you are not getting some 360 games you should wait until you can because that's what I'm doing now and waiting until November to be cheaper and to know if halo 3 is coming out 2007. Something I forgot to say is that I used to play with the 360 for maybe about 6 to 7 Hours a day on the weekend or maybe more and I worked fine and my friend plays more than me and it works fine for him too but just in case it got hot my friend founded this thing in game stop for 20 dollars that you can put under it and it can keep it cool because is a fan.
