I want to buy a 40 inch LCD but and this is my #1 choice. It's 1080 and I think the contrast is 15000:1 for about $1700. Also if anyone has any other suggestions of a better t.v. with a similar price please let me know.
I love my Samsung 40" 1080p LCD, i've got the older LN-S4095D model and the PQ is fantastic.. Since your looking to spend that kind of money, i found a 1080p model for roughly the same price with a dynamic contrast ratio of 30,000:1..
