should i flash my xecuter2?

i have a xectuter 2 chip which as far as i know hasnt been flashed - it had the origional MS dashboard

ive been struggling to connect to my xbox via FTP, i followed a tutorial and its give me no luck (the connection keeps timing out on FlashFxp)

i now have a copy of evox on disc, im thinking i need to flash my xbox with it before i can put any emulators on it

but im not sure i need some help

 

When you boot your Xbox with the modchip enabled does the flubber screen should the red evox icon in the top lefthand corner or is the xbox symbol blue?

 

no nothing it has the flubber intro,

instead of "microsoft" under the xbox logo it says "executer2"

 

Post as much info. about your Xbox as you can, this will help to determine your problem. i.e. Are you running a hacked dashboard? Like unleashedX or evoX or XBMC. Stuff like that.

If you do not have a hacked Dashboard then you will need one before you can install emulators and such. You can do this with the AID 4.10 disk, this disk can do all you need, flash your bios, prepare your HDD, install emulators,dashboard of your choice and programs. I recomend XBMC as a dashboard.
