Im not shure if i should get a Xbox 360 they seem good but I have some questions. Are you able to play origional Xbox games on them without doing much? And the Red ring of death... is that easy to avoid or is it something that just happens?
Unless you get a new jasper xbox 360 that is supposed to stop the rrod issue you are going to most likely have a problem with an xbox 360 some time or another. You could be one of the lucky few that never have a problem if you get an older model are it could be years down the road before an issue occurs.Either way the reward is far greater than the risk with xbox 360.There is not another system out that is as good as the 360 that allows you change firmware and create backups of games and be able to actually play them.Plus when you do have a problem it is so easy to work on your self, you can learn everthing you need to know in this forum.
Easy to work on my ass...after going through 3 premiums and 1 elite and having them all crap out Id say the rewards are no way greater than the risk. Not even close. Get a new jasper 360 if you can dont get an old one. And if you do dont have it stand vertical cuz my "invincible" elite never got the 3 rings like the 3 premiums but the dvd drive crapped out and now it only plays DVDs and thinks my games are movies... Oh and it only plays a select few original xbox games. MS would rather have you pay for the downloadable ones on XBL.
well sucks to be you, because my launch console is still running strong and never had RROD or anything.
Honestly the red ring of death thing isn't the biggest problem ever. Microsoft is really good about it. I've owned xbox 360 since launch and have sent in my 360 twice. The first time it took about a week and they sent me a free game (nba 2k6) with it. The second time I had it back in 5 days and they sent 1 free month of xbox live gold with it. It sucks that it has to happen but Microsoft has taken a lot of steps to make up for it. Xbox also has a great library of games. In my opinion the controller is much better then ps3's and xbox live blows psn out of the water. Also, if you ever decide to mod it or have it modded the 360 plays all backups very easily, the ps3 does not. Its up to you but I am very happy with my xbox 360.
no need to when you know how to to take care of the console. hell, come to think of it, i havent turned it off in the past month either.
pshhh...good for you then. not that i dont know how to take care of my 360 I just have bad luck. And you just happen to have good luck to get a small percentage of 360s that were actually produced correctly with no faults. Iv been reading the 360 threads and kept quite for a while but everyone is right wabash you are kind of a dousche.
I would have to say that a 360 is completely worth it. I had one from launch and never had any problems with it until i got banned and then i just sold it. Never had the rrod issue and i would leave it on non stop, so for the people who say that is a problem, then maybe it is because they dont understand the whole put it somewhere where it can get good air flow.
thakns evrybody but i didnt see anybody saying weather or not i can play the origional xbox games on the 360
you can play over 300 original xbox games.Xbox 360 is worth it.....for it's price,it's large library of games and it's online services. If you get RROD you always have your 3 year warranty(even if you flash it....a little bit of serch on google will teach you,if you decide to flash it yourself, how to open you xbox 360 without voiding your warranty)
