I want to get the Samsung Tocco Lite, both companies are offering 100 minutes, T-Mobile are offering unlimited texts and O2 are offering 3000 texts (what's up with that? is that unlimited?). They are both 24 month contracts, I want to get O2 so I can get priority tickets to the gigs (Bon Jovi, Guns N' Roses, Metallica etc) but I also want to get T-Mobile so after the contract runs out, I can easily instal the solo simcard, so I wont need to go through the torture of getting the phone unlocked (I have with my two previous phones).

My brother has been with O2 before a few years back, he ordered his phone online via their shop and they usually charged him £10 more then what he was using even though he didn't even use his phone very much, we also had problems cancelling the contract at the end, because O2 kept taking more money. Even today, I've heard that O2 online is very much different from O2 on the street, that they are terrible.

Also, is dialaphone.co.uk a safe place to buy phones from? They are doing the same O2 deal I mentioned above only withhalf price line rental for six months by redemption.

These deals are only available online, so could anybody help me please?

    Hi Nitro89

I will be testing the O2 SIM for the rest of May, I am really disappointed with the lack of uniformity of EDGE coverage and very sneaky use of the word ‘Unlimited’. If I were to buy one of them then I think I would go with T-Mobile. If I am just going to call and SMS people, I would go with O2. Even myself it will be a bit more difficult to choose. T- mobiles are really good. Coverage is much better. You should go with T-mobile only.
