    Hi i really want to get an iphone. Only problem is i have a long time still running on my vodafone contract! So to get one i have 2 choices and was wondering what you guys think was the best option.

    1) buy one that is unlocked on ebay. (from a trusted seller)}

    2) buy one that is pay as you go from o2, brand new and then unlock and jailbreak it myself for my vodafone sim card. Bearing in mind i havent done this before but have found the instructions and believe i could.

    I was wondering as well if i was to put my vodafone sim card into it would everything work as it should, as i have heard the internet on it only works with o2 sim cards.

    Thanks for your time

    Get a new one, if you can. A new iphone is a much better bet, only if you can afford it. Unlock it after, or get someone to help you. Good luck!

    it is upto you on how you do stuff, but i would recommend buying the pay as you go and jailbreak it. If you follow the instructions on how to jailbreak, your iphone will not brick. Good luck.
