shrek2 on ps2

    gjlv8 to boot you backup of shrek 2 you need to do the following:-
    1.boot swapmagic dvd and swap for dvd loader by flip/slide press x
    2.dvd loader boots press x and scroll up/down and select the 5v3 no pn option press x
    3.press eject and swap for swapmagic dvd press eject to send back in
    4.wait for it to say ps2 dvd in lower left of tv screen when this appeasr press x
    5.wait for swap by ea method prompt at thes point swap for your shrek 2 backup by flip/slide and press x
    6. your game should now boot

    the above method works on my pal v7 ps2 with my pal backup of shrek 2

    coke4me a lot of people seem to have problems with cd loader on v9/10 ps2's and cant get it to work, but you say you get a pink border when you try to load dvd loader with swapmagic dvd that is usualy somthing to do with the burn so lets see if we can solve it, when you burnt dvd loader with nero did you use nero express or nero itself? what speed did you burn it at?you did burn dvd loader to a dvdr disc didn't you

    works perfect for me on v7 ps2 aswell DH jst that i use swap cd/ cd loader select no pn/ swap dvd/ shrek backup....

    dh i did infact burn burn dvdloader onto a memorex dvd+r 4.7 gb now as far as nero i burned it 3 ways the on the last burn i did put the speed on 1x like u had suggested earlier in the forum or on a nother thread....as far as nero im not sure if i used express or nero itself how would i know the difference i have the full version 6 nero platinum

    to burn it in nero you would open nero burning rom then close the new complation window then from the top menu's select recorder,burn image a new window opens from the file types drop down menu select image files (*.nrg,*.iso,*.cue)browse to were the image file is stored click it then click open,a new window will open on here select your burn speed make sure finalise dvd is ticked then click burn you should not have to alter any other setting

    i have personaly burnt dvd loader that way myself so know the burn method will work,so i'm begining to wonder if you got a bad download of dvd loader which version of dvd loader are you trying to burn and were did you get it from

    i'm using the v7all version and have sent you the file, you dont have a v9/10 ps2 do you? as there are known problems with dvdloader v7b5.2 and those model ps2's

    also noticed that on another thread that you are having aspi problems,it migh be worth checking out this site http://forceaspi18.w.interia.pl/

    Hi dh, my PS2 is a V9 and my dvdloader came from you, does that mean it won't work for me, becasue after following your step by step instructions, still freezes with a yellow screen.

    gjlv8 the dvd loader v7all works fine on v9/10 ps2's if dvd loader is booting then it's working,can't understand why its getting stuck at a yellow screen as i'm using the same version of dvd loader burnt with nero and booted with swapmagic dvd to boot my backup of shrek 2 and it loads fine for me,you have got me completly baffeled at the moment i wil have to think about this for a bit and see if i can think of anything else

    dh thanx for the loader but same goes for me it is getting stuck on yellow screen im trying the aspi disc out now

    What options do you use on DVD Loader to get Shrek 2 to work, I am still getting a yellow screen.

    On the dvd loader file you sent me, when I extracted the file, there were no image files, how do I make this into a PS2 DVD Loader Disc?

    when you extracted the file with win rar you should get an iso file if you did not load up win rar from your programs menu, then from the top menu's select options>settings, then go to the integration tab select it then untick associate with iso click ok,click close,now try to extract your dvd loader file again
