    Hello,

Does anyone know of a good program / way of reducing the file size of a very BIG Mpeg video file without sacrificing much quality?

I've got this 10 GB MPEG file and I would like to make it fit on a DVD Disc.

    Can anyone help me out?

    Thanking in advance

Check out if Sony Vegas can handle it. Sony Vegas uses Mainconcept Mpeg encoder, which is Very Good. Quality loss is impossible though as you are going less than half the original size.

See what type of audio it has. If it is .wav (PCM 48khz 1536kbs), a solution would be to convert it to .ac3 at 192 kbs stereo or 448 kbs 5.1 (384 kbs is also acceptible).
