Yes, in the future please replace the words "fan boy" with "drooling, raving, slobbering, fanatical, running at the mouth [xbox/ps2/nintendo/amd/intel/ati/nvidia/etc] enthusiast"
On second thought, fan boy is easier to type.

Thanks jim_dandy; oh man... I guess I cannot belong to the FanBoy club then; I don't meet the proper criteria, lol...
Not into that gaming stuff here... I love my photo editing though; I wonder if I can join the "LensBoys" club?

I'm not a gamer either, which explains why we've never heard the expression ;)

To me the defintion of fanboy is someone who advocates their particular platform, whether it be windows vs mac, ps2 vs xbox, to the the point of being fanatical about it and unable to accept criticism of their preferred choice or listen to reason.

I ignore them myself, I have seen the advocates on both sides since I first went online with my Atari 800 in 1983 and saw the Commodore 64 crowd bashing it, and the Atari crowd bashing the C64. Same with Amiga vs Atari ST up to the modern day ATI vs Nvidia, AMD vs Intel, ad naseum. If I see someone that can't have an objectional viewpoint on a forum I just skip over their comments in the future.
