My young boy has managed to spill a bit of juice onto the box and has lost the channels but the box its self is still working (menu,volume,channel names etc).The signal strength is o% as is the quality O% .Ive tried to do a scan but wont pick any channels up . Any help much appriciated .
ive just tried that celtic and when i turn back on its just a black scrren but i can still change channel and tells me channel names etc and can still use menu .the odd timeit says bad scrambled channel
the codes i have just checked and its not them ,also im not even getting the free ones,like the freeview ones and bbc
yes that is on .i wounder weather the juice that was spilt on it has fried something inside.it messed up as soon as it was spilt onto it.
ive checked it and all dried out,but i think its had it,im gutted.checked the cable into my tv and get normal tv but saays no signal or quality strength when i try my starview . looks like im going to have to get another one .its a shame ivehad this one well over a year.anyway ,which oone would you choose . was thinking of star view 2 the box.something nice and easy for a novice like me.also i bought mine from a lad i know who instaled it and i had to do nothing,but am going to buy one from the net ,do they come with everything on ,channels etc or do you have to put them on yourself.thanks in advance and if any one can think why the box ive got now isnt picking the signal up,i would be greatfull .
Its strange that you can access channels and volume etc Make sure you plug the incoming cable back into the "Cable Input" socket at the back of the Starvi*w If that fails then I will answer your last post lol
