Alright people, newbie here so sorry if my questions sound daft!

I have downloaded a DVD-rip of Family Guy and want to put the 21 avi files onto DVDs so they can play in a standalone DVD.

All 21 avi files are 23fps - so, by reading the glossary, I guess I can only put two episodes on one VCD at 'bad' quality.

So, how do I get my 23fps avi files onto a DVD at the best possible quality onto DVDs which will work on a standalone playere?

    I appreciate your help.

PS - I have TMPEG Encoder, TMPEG DVD Author and all the latest Nero in advance.

From what I understand, I can only put it on VCD which enrages me!!! Thanks in advance for you help!

I have never heard of 'Family Guy', but I take it that you have downloaded a movie or TV Series of that name from the internet!!! Thats illegal!!!!

    Sorry people. I apologise.

Anyways, the same thing happens with my home movie. How can I do it? Can you still help me?

Are your home movies .AVI's? How many are you trying to put on your disc? I'd bet about 21, eh? ;)
Do you have a small maniacle baby named Stewie in those "home movies?" Lol, didn't mean to be mean... Just sounded a little bit like a cover-up to me.. Sorry. If you're pirating files, you shouldn't be helped.

    Hi,
Piracy is not allowed on this forums, but if your home movies dont work either I guess I can help you out.

    http://www.afterdawn.com/guides/archive/convert_avi_to_dvd.cfm

Just use this guide and follow all the steps to get through to making a DVD. Except this guide tells you to use IFOedit to author your DVD but you can still use TMPGEnc DVD Author 1.6 [better in my opinion].

    Hope that helps :)

    Regards,
