I've been looking around for an R4, and honestly it seems to be a bit daunting.

Initially i looked into this site
    http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.16929

But i read posts below it claiming it to be fake, considering that the real R4 will not support SDHC.

After more looking i found this site
    http://www.realhotstuff.com/r4ds-p-184.html

Basically i was wondering if i could get some recommendations for this site, and some insight. I'm a bit lost.

    Thanks for your time.

Try getting an M3 instead, problem with R4 are there are so many products carrying the R4 name, all with different software. Most are clones of the original (official software has now stopped being supported)some support sdhc some don't.

No. You need a slot-2 card as well. I am a fan of the EZ Flash V and EZ Flash 3-in-1, but there are other choices as well.

If you buy an M3. then buy the M3 GBA expansion, this allows you to select and play the roms off the M3, no extra software required and you also have the real time save function on gba games. Works fantastic and so easy.
