I have a 1.36g xvid file and i wish to put it to ONE cdr. What programme can compress it to a file size i want? Thanks
Chances are that it uses 5.1 sound. First step would be to demux then convert to say 2 channel he-aac if you really want to save space. That should shave it down to say 1GB so next you would have to re-encode the video. Use a bitrate calculater and then re-encode the video with say x264 or XviD. Last step, mux the he-aac and video to an mp4. You didn't say what you wanted for output though, nor what container your input was.
