Hi, im having a real problem! It's that DirectX thing! A couple of weekes ago our computer crashed because of a virus, before that the sims 2 was working perfectly and i had all the expansions and all. But after our computer crashed we had to put every program back on and after i put the sims on this message popped up when i tried to play...

Error: "Failed to find any DirectX 9.0c compatible graphics adapters in this system! Please make sure you have a DirectX 9.0c compatible graphics adapter and have installed the latest drivers provided by the manufacturer. The application will now terminate."

Ive looked this up on other sites but no one has had the problem of their computer crashing and then not being able to play the game. Can someone PLEASE HELP ME. What have i done wrong have i forgot to load something back on to my computer or what ive found every cd i could have and loaded it on but our house is getting renervated so i might have missed one but i havnt been able to find anymore. PLEASE PLEASE HELP!!!!!! I LOVE THE SIMS AND THIS IS VERY FRUSTRATING!!!(as you can see)

you have to reinstall windows, because dx9 is part of it.

I dont think it should have to do with the drivers for the card, but more dx9, and tyhe only way to fix that is with the Windows cd, and reinstalling windows.
