sims2 cloths help

i just brut som a evry day fule pece sute for my teenage alin girl wen i go to the shop it ses iv got them but wen i go to the drews at home i dont have the option plane outfit but there the right cloths ther for a teenager girl and so i burte some other cloths and i cant were put them on ither i was abel to try on at the shop why is it doing this so can some body tell me y it is and how to fix it (P.S sory if u cant read my spleing)
