Single or Separate AVIs for each song for VHS Concert Conversion?

    Is it better to capture concerts as a single AVI or separate avis for each song? When converting to a DVD, I want to make chapters for each song.

    Also, what is the easiest program to capture the analog sourced concerts as separate avi's?
