    hi, im after a sub for SIRIUS 4.8, could some1 pm me pls with the info. cheers.

    your gonna need a big dish for that one from the uk to get good reception take it you are after viasat all prem matches live.it has a very narrow footprint.our local pub gets it brill reception but he has a 240cm motorised dish on top of the pub lol.

    its viasat you want sub for then all the prem matches live. sirus 4.8e is now astra 4a 4.8e but big dish needed in the midlands you need at least 120cm dish then it might drop out in bad weather. also there is issues with viasats hd channels and cs.its the nordic beam you are after not the european beam.

    suggest you look at 1W. football should be there and a 1m dish should pick it up

    sirius is 4.8E which has viasat. thor 5/6 is on 1 degree west and this also has viasat. the difference is that the footprint of thor in comparison to sirius is much larger so you need only a relatively normal sized dish to pick up thor while it would take an animal of a dish to pick up sirius on 4.8. I have a 1.2m dish and I pick up all channels on thor 5/6 including high def perfectly.

    as a rule i never pm. why should i need to pm. solution is triax td110 at www.satellitetv.ie, use this on a motor myself. works perfect,
