hi, I don't know anything about laptop drive's only desktop drives so I was wondering can anybody point me in the right direction in buying a NEW drive??so here goes. the laptop info is dell inspiron 1300 the drive that is in it now is NEC ND-6650A she is looking for a dvd burner one. i would like to buy it from www.ebay.ie or www.ebay.co.uk thanks alot.
you could do a external drive then you wouldn't have to pay labor to change out the laptop drive (its a pain) good brands are Pioneer Lite-On Samsung I would avoid E-Bay
nah i would rather get her a internal one as she takes it to collage ever week. i can change the drives inside a desktop one so i will try and do them inside the laptop. what holds them in screws or ??? also why would you avoid ebay???? thanks for answer I thought nobody would.Lol
