trying to login into this site https://www.modelshipworld.com/forum/5-members-build-logs/
I can signup & browse ok but cannot sign in. tried using my win 7 tower & my win 7 laptop which both failed to login, it was an old dual core centrino laptop with win 10 that i was able to login. i have never seen a site that had an issue with an operating system, browser yes but not an os.
that site had been hacked well over a month ago & lost all their data including what was on the 2 backups which where supposed still connected to the server at the time of the hack. the old site software I was able to signin using google chrome with win 7 but the new site software will let me browse but not allow me to signin unless I use win10 still using google chrome.
what do you think of this issue?

Do you have any popup blockers running, or applications such as EFF's Privacy Badger? They will prevent some functions on sites from completing their tasks? If so then you have to select disable for the site before trying to login.

Chrome has a built in popup blocker that's on by default. Did you check it?

If my last suggestion didn't work, then all that's left is the website is rejecting your attempts because Win7 doesn't meet its internet security protocols TLS 1.2 or TLS 1.3 for data protection. You can try enabling TLS 1.2 in your Internet options by going to control panel>>Internet Options>>click advanced tab>>scroll and look to see if use TLS 1.2 is check, and if it's not then check it apply..okay. If that doesn't work then try using Firefox (superior security) to login.

Were you able to sort it.
Using vivaldi on win 7 x64 ultimate works fine to sign up & login.
Only issue i had was the login username it was written as scorpNZ when it required a email address & i deleted the auto fill user & password from vivaldi then re-typed it into sign in & its fine i can login otherwise it wouldn't let me write the complete email address..Deleting the remembered name allowed me to type again.
Onboard vivaldi site blocking is disabled while ublock origin is active.
Sign in working on brave as well
