I read and followed the article on how to convert an xVid or DivX .avi to DVD format with the program Avi2DVD. Everything seems to be fine while converting, but when it's all done and the details say everything succeded the .iso that appears s only 846kb large and the Video_TS and Audio_TS folders that appear are empty so obviously something has gone wrong but I do not how and why it went wrong. I tried twice without any luck and now trying a third time but I'm not expecting any miracles.. Perhaps anyone can enlighten me on this issue? (Also the converting seems to go "too" fast if you believe the article, only around 10 minutes)

it normally takes a couple of hrs at least, depending on the size
when using avi2dvd,make sure you let it finish.....!!!

you should have a dvd folder containing the v,ts folder

but the app' appears to have finished, when its not...so be warned

i dont like that app anyways,
i have tried a few recently, and i think i am going to stick with the freebie...vso's dvixtodvd
