Skipping and Freezing Video

    Hi all I need some help.

    I follow the convert xvid/divx/avi to DVD guide to the letter. the problem is that when I play it on a dvd player. The first like 15 minutes works and then it skips and finally freezes. I use maxell dvd-r's. someone PLZ HELP ME

    BTW I use nero 6 burning rom to burn my DVD's

    are you burning at max speed?if so, burn at 2x instead.

    Ok..... sounds like some bad media, but Maxells are supposed to be good..... so check to see if the disk is clear and clean of fingerprints or scratchs....... if problem still persists check to see if the burn is without errors.You can do this by downloading DvdInfo Pro (free trial version),here's the link:

    use DvdInfo Pro and test the disk for errors! If there are errors ..... go back to the drawing board and start again. At least that's what I do. Good luck.
