Whenever i download a movie on the net and then put it on DVD with NEROVISION the movie is always choppy or the sound plays before the scene. IS this because im burning on 8x? If i burn on 2x or 4x will this correct the problem?? BUT when i used DVD Shrink to copy a movie that i rented it works great. ITs only when i download from the net and try to make it a movie. Can someone help

Well it could be because Nero vision express uses a Crappy assed Encoder that treats all Video the same way when it should encode different Types of Video in different ways depending on the Video Frame Rate and if the Video is Interlaced or Progressive ect....

Maybe try useing a Proper Standalone Encoder (Tmpgenc??) to encode your AVI files to DVD Compliant Mpeg-2 files and then use a Good DVD authoring program Like DVDLab to add your menu"s and Chapters and to Burn the DVD....

I use this Type of Method will all of my DVD"s and all of them Play perfectly with over 1000 Movies so far....also you should Burn your DVD"s at a Lower speed just so you don"t end up with Burn errors which can cause your DVD to Playback Choppy.....

    Cheers

PS: You should also allways decompress the audio in your AVI files before Converting them to DVD because Most Downloaded AVI files use VBR MP3 audio which will allways go out of Sync after converting to another format....
