Hi i recently upgraded to a sky+ box but still have my old digi box and sky card, can i install this in another room without paying sky another £10 a month for the privalage. I don't need all the channels just the ones you recieve free are fine. i thought the box would act as a freeview box if connected to an aerial but the message no satelite signal being recieved. is there anything i can do or should i just chuck out the box. Thanks

the short answer is no mate, it needs to be plugged into the feed from the dish to get the freeview channels at least

If you have sky+ then you will have a quad LNB so run a cable from a spare connection on the LNB ( should be 2 spare) to the room you want the old box in and this will work
