sky hd box ethernet port

    hi all can soemone tell me why the ethernet port is on the sky box please thanks

    Pretty much nothing.

    AFAIK, it can be used to access your box remotely.

    Its for video on demand via internet, its part of the NDS specifications, but sky dont use it.
