sky plus and dvd/blu ray recorder

    hello ,is it possible to record from the sky plus box ,when u have programmes stored ,to a dvd recorder or blu ray recorder and how could u do it ,thanks

    as far as I am aware those recordings are encrypted and wont play when taken off onto a different HD, perhaps someone may be able to clarify,

    I could be wrong but as far as I'm aware only box office and movies are encrypted. Only read that somewhere mind you, I don't have sky box. Try connecting your recorder to the 2nd scart and see if you can then.

    your answer is http://www.skycopyplus.co.uk/. it is also possible to extend the memory on your sky+. specialized equipment required. need necessary cradles. also you must open sky box to do this and as such your already useless warranty is void

    okay thats a bit over my head as i just wanted to transfer some movies and thaat to my dvd recorder ,but thanks for the info .

    just read the info. its what you need. if you are not tech aware then i really cant help
