I am reliably informed that I will receive more channels using my old sky box than I will using a freeview box. Is this true? For example will I get sky news, sky sports news, and sky one? Basically, I cancelled my subscription to sky some time ago but still receive a signal from them, although my box is currently disconnected. If I reconnect my sky box and disconnect my freeview box will I receive more channels? Do I have to do anything for this to be the case? I do not wish to subscribe again to sky. Please help.
No you wont get those channels as you need a subscription, here is the list of Freesat channels on Sky http://www.freesatfromsky.co.uk/freesat-tv-choice.aspx but I am not sure if you can just hook back up and get this service, maybe worth a look at though.
