sky sports 1 no sound on my starview

sky sports 1 no sound on my starview

hi everyone,
i purchased a starview box this week and its working great but this morning i turned on sky sports 1 and there was no sound for the whole day .
did anyone else have this problem ,and does anyone else know how to solve this if you know anything please help.
p.s all the other channels i checked had sound including the other sports channels .

 

I also have this problem - have tried running the channel for an hour or so, tried doing a manual and automatic scan with no joy. Please can someone advise - as I would like to view the cup final.

 

hi,ive had the same problem all week,tried update with software,autoscan but still the same....any help welcome

 

i have had no sound on sky sports 1 for the last two days

some of my other channels had sound but just a black screen

i search for all channels again and found a new tp number for
sky sports 1 and some of the other that were missing

now i have one sky sports 1 with no sound and
one sky sports 1 with sound

i think you can delete your sky sport channel and than search for
new one

i ended up with some channels twice but have remove them

it all working fine now for me

tp it just the channel number

so i had two sky sports one, which had a different channel numbers

so check all channels not your favorites

my favorites still had the old sky sports
it had not been replaced by the new one

anyone eles needs fix..MENU.channel edit then DELETE s*ysports1.EXIT,EXIT.then go to menu,then installation,down to MANUAL SCAN,then NETWORK SCAN then press OK....let it SCAN and you will find s*ysports1 at top end of channels.hope this helps

hello im in the liverpool area had no sound on sky sports 1 for a few days now. other people i know are having the same problems does anyone know whats happening.if i set it back to factory settings it will probably come back on but then i lose all my favourites. so any ideas any one?

 

Thanks to the guys on this thread I have my box working.

Just one more ?, how do I get them back to it's original programme no's? also I have been told that if I reset the channels to my preference its likely the channels will get scrambled???Is this right or a myth???
