    my box went dead after using 300ee firmware bad mistake.i have had to solder jtag to the box ,thats ok.using skymax 2 programmer the programmer starts no problem erases the old flash no problem,when writing i get this error message

    DCU OK
    Trap_Wptr : 5C6F22DF
    File : C:\Documents and Settings\BRIAN\Local Settings\Temp\Rar$EX87.297\trap.bin

    can anyone help?

    What Jtag image are you using and I presume its an SV1?

    Are your BIOS settings at EPP, (Bi-directional), with an IRQ of 378? Presume you have tried Jkeys also?

    Sorry if I dont reply for a bit I have to head out ;)

    yes BIOS settings at EPP, (Bi-directional), with an IRQ of 378 tried jkeys also still cant get it to write flash

    scouser thanks for your help tried jkeys again wasnt detecting my box changed ird to 3800 applied flash and bobs you uncle im up and running again, was nearly going chucking it in the bin but decieded to give it one more go.

    Good news, changing IRQ to 380 very strange indeed but well at least its working now ;)
