I have scanned for channels after a factory re-set. I noticed only 24 channels scanned where there are usually lots more and got nothing. The codes I am using are as follows for NTL Dublin. 54 01 00 A9-86-6E-EA-39-EA-09-49 54 01 01 9E-40-85-78-E7-82-10-06 Can anyone help novice
Starview I presume Frequency change fix 1 Menu 2 Factory settings 3 type in code ( 0000) 4 press ok. this will delete channels. 5 Installation 6 Change provider (Eg n*L etc)to which ever one used in your area. 7 autoscan ( when it says *** channels found , exit back out all the way until u are back at the scrambled/no signal 'tv' screen) 8 Hit menu again 9 go into parental control 10 press info on remote and type in 2004 11 new screen appears , change EMU to on Exit out and view channels.
i get zero channels when i do a factory reset and then i can only get back to the langage area on the screen, i can go back to installation and do as many resets as i want but get no channels
When I do as you say the skyview box scans for 24 channels and then tells me 0 channels found. I then exit exit exit and the box locks on the Language screen and I cannot go back any further. I can go back into the installation screen and re-set to the factory settings but I just get the same again
Just found the problem the cable had disconnected from the box and that is why i got no channels. All good now, thanks for your help
