Slayers 2.6 problem

    I just got a slayers disc to basically re-install everything into my xbox but it wont install any dashboards or anything. Im following the instructions perfectly but it wont install anything. Is it possible that it wont install anything because the HDD is locked or unlocked. Also when I ftp to the HDD i can see the folders but I cant tranfer anything to the HDD. Could that be because the HDD is locked or unlocked. Thanks in advance

    But even when using any slayers auto installer i cant tranfer anything from the disk to the harddrive
