ok here's the thing. I have the latest evox on my hdd. But when i go to change my hdd to my maxtor 120gb I can't evox to boot with my new boot cd. So i want to try slayers 2.5. can I still use it at this point?

 

yes just go ahead and get slayers, burn the iso to cd/dvd and pop it in, reboot and it should work
click rebuild large hard drive and select the C: selection (WILL INSTALL EVOX ON C PARTITION), then let it do its thing.

slayers is a bit out of date now actually, so mayb try like (excuse the french) firefuckers or xdisk.

p.s: Whats the difference of (xcuse the french) firefuckers or xdisk. Is it the newer versions of evolution x. And can i get them from #xbins?

with firefuckers u can lock and unlock from the menu i sudgest that one since it has more programs and unlock and lock stuff

 

just get the firefucker disk sleyrs is out dated like stated above and has more progs t install too

p.s: what do you mean it can unlock and lock stuff from the menu? ( the m$ dashboard?)

p.p.s: if you put a new hdd in the xbox, but you dont lock or whatever, will it not work?
and doesnt m$ check for locked hdd's?

lol yeah just try to get their readme file it should state in that document were u can get the file from also get yourself familiar with IRC beacuse thats prolly the most secure place to get the firefuckers disc from

 

OKAY, i just downloaded FiREFUCKeRs_EvoX-DISK_0.92_english, and GAMES_4_X-DISK. I dont know whats going on???? I extracted them and all i got was a stupid readme saying dont forget to burn the burn.bat????Where are the rest of the files????
Im still downloadin FiREFUCKeRs_X-DISK_101_english at 56% it took me all night...OMG!!!!!!!!!
p.s: i would really appreciate it if someone could assist me at this stage!

 

well ill help a bit when i downloaded 101 whitch has the good stuff, i unziped it caus it was a .rar file and inside i had a .iso and a readme
burn the iso with nero burning rom and insert it sev times in xbox till it reads it
and format and install it
p.s if you have trouble with this then jest sell your xbox

 

But the thing is, is that there isnt an iso!!

 

if your on windows go to the file and right click on it and then propertys and then archive and so on
if you dont have winrar or a .rar extracter tool then go to www.download.com and search .rar and get extract now its pritty good
there should not be any more Qs
