I'm about to buy a solution for booting my ps2 games.

Which of the following is best?

    Flip top

    or

    slide tool

I dont want to have to solder or open up my ps2, so these seem like the best options!?

Just curious as to which is the better method?

    Thanks

I wouldnt go as far to say that a Flip top sucks. Its pretty good and I know alot of people that are happy with it. Would I buy/use a flip top? HELLO NO. But we are not talking about me now are we. lol

Flip-tops and slide cards suck ass! My experience with these have been anything but pleasant. Neither versions 2 or 3 work reliably on my V.7 PS2. So, I have finally decided to have a mod chip installed. Can somebody recommend a reputable mod chip installer? I have never touched a sodering iron before, and I do not want to make a rookie mistake of damaging my ps2. I appreciate the help
