    Hi,

Just curious if anyone knows of good free software for creating dvd slideshows from pictures (.jpg or whatever) stored on your HD.

Any suggestions would be great .. thanks,

    Jake

Does it mean that the Nero can capture a picture from already existed on hard drive movie? Could it be edited, I mean, is it possible to insert some text or other stuff into it?
Or simply, what kind of software can I use to create a label (and use screenshots from burned DVD)?
    Thanks.

I believe Nero can do those things.

Nero is free? That's news to me.

http://www.momentodvd.com : Momento Express is freeware and will create a slideshow with motion, effects, etc. and output a WMV file.

There is also a more advanced version on www.momentodvd.com for $50, and it includes burning straight to DVD.

    Nice,
I'm going to check this one. Nero did not work for me or I could not figure out how to make pictures. If this one will work, it will be great. Thanks.
