   pls in need help, i have an acer aspire 1642 which is like 6months old.it uses slim type dvdrw sosw-833s recently it stops reading any kinds of dvd even disk made with it but reads all cd-r . pls i need to know is these a hardware problem or software and how can solve it

   Check your ASPI to make sure that it isn't corrupt.
