my slimeline pstwo has been working great (apart from sometimes freezing during games) up until three days ago, its about 10 months old. now it just shows the screen that has the picture of the memorycards on it and the disk, however every time i click on the disk to load the game it trys then reloads the same thing. the playstation is not modded in any way. It still plays audio cds but wont play games at all?? any help
is there anywhere i can get a replacment? or since its less than a year old can i contact sony about it?
call up sony, I think the slims have a 1 year warranty on it so they'll probably fix it for free (if it's a 1 year warranty that is).

does that lazer fix work on the slimline aswell? i tried it on a fatty and it now works again i have another fat ps2 to fix the same way but i want to check if the slimline uses the same lazer adjustment before i go opening the thing.
laser fixes are for slimline PS2's Mostly for people who have a chip installed. I have a Summone laser fix in my V12 to prevent spikes in current from burning the laser out.
