Slow Burning

Hi there, i just got a DVD writer and Nero 6, but burning is a little slow on my older machine, i was wondering if there was anyway to stop the nero vision express 3 preview at burn time as this must be slowing things up but i cant see the option,

Preview doesn't slow down things that much, how slow are you talking about?

 

Around 4 Hours fo a 40 minute T.V. episode... i know the computer is getting on a bit now but its not that bad!

Maybe you could try use faster programs for e.g. encoding like VSO DivxToDVD (free version):

With Nero, you can experiment to see whether you could still get good results using one-pass and without advanced analysis.

Also, make sure your DMA is set to on.
