Slow Burning

    I just formatted my computer. The Burner worked great before this used to take about 7-8 mins to burn something 4gb but now it take anywhere from an hour to two. I have the lastest firmware. Using Nero 7. Its a sony 720a burner. Any help would be great.. Thanks in advance.

    Thanks for the help. No go tho, It is in dma.. Any other suggestions?

    Double check in the PC bios that the IDE controllers are set for auto detect.

    yup both are set to auto detect. If you like, I can take some screen shots of the info there.. Thanks again

    uninstall the IDE controllers anyway , reboot and see if your burn times improve
