Slow data transfer using FlashFXP

    I'm trying to FTP the files from my xbox to my PC but I'm getting very slow data transfer rates. PC spec is as follows:

    WIN98 SE
    P3 450 Processor
    160MB RAM

    Connection is via a tested crossover cable, network card is set to auto detect. There are no IRQ conflicts. There are no other adaptor installed except for a dialup. The only protocol running is TCP/IP. Anyone got any suggestions?

    What is the speed of your data transfer?

    The speed indicated on FlashFXP is only around 700KB/s

    I had a problem with my transfers once,it so happened that I had a flaw in my ide ribbon on my box. Maybe check your connections? I mean I run at 2.4ghz and my transfers were usualy between 6000-9000....but with the bad ribbon they were about 500-1200. Big difference. Other than that,I don't know....I thought it might be something lagging on your pc,but you said it wasn't so that's about all I got for ya.
