I capture on my PC Hi8 video using my digital camera Sony PC1000E as it has a digital converter. The problem is that when I play back the avi file using the Windows Media Player and The Nero Show Time everything is just fine
BUT when I try to play it back using the Power DVD or the Power Director 4 for editing then the video and the
audio play slow(distortion on the audio and slower movement of the video than the normal)
How can i overcome this problem
Thank you apriori for the responses

What compression codec are you using?

Start by downloading and installing the Panasonic DV-AVI codec (it's free, google it).
This should give you normal playback in your software.
What aoftware are you using to "capture" the video from the cam to your computer?
