Hello, i just bought a Pioneer dvd recorder which plays DIvx.
But the subtitles are very small. Is there any way to change that.
I've already tried to change the format of the subtitle (srt / ssa / vub) but nothing works. Any ideas?

The size of the (.srt) subs is a function of the player.
Unless it offers a choice, that's what you get.
You have the alternative of converting the subs to hard coded.
The sub conversion program allows you to choose the font, size, colour etc.

Yeah, the subtitle font(s) are contained in the players firmware.

An alternative to hard subbing would be to use xsubs in a divx container. If they player is DivX certified, then they will work. They are bitmap based, so you can pick the font when you create them.
