I work in an office and I want to play a movie in the corner of my screen. I want a program that has a minimum view with no borders. I shrink the window down to a 1-1/2 - 2" square. I have been using VLC but it still has more border than I want even in minimal view. Anyone know of something different than VLC? Thanks a bunch.
I personally don't know of any programs that just display the video. I'm pretty sure they all need some sort of GUI, and I'm pretty sure any GUI requires borders of some sort. But yeah, I think VLC is gonna be your best bet. ...you COULD try Media Player Classic. I don't have much experience with MPC, though, so I wouldn't be able to help you with that.
OMG!!!!!!!! THIS IS PERFECT. I am playing MP4 which required me to install ffdshow_rev2693_20090216_clsid.exe for it to work. I love it. It has the smallest border I have seen and you can make it incredibly small. Perfect for work to go stealth. hehe Thanks SO MUCH. CB
Did you mean MP4 encoding with H.264 that can be played online with the flash player? If so, maybe, SPAM can help you. I used SPAM. you can try.
