    I have SmartRipper installed on my Medion desktop without any problems. I tryed to download SR onto my Gateway laptop and this is what I get when I try any movies:
    ASPI-Adapter available try to unlock drive...no ASPI access to this drive switch to WinIO test file access...
    VIDEO_TS.BUP->Win_IO readable
    VIDEO_Ts.IFO->Win_IO readable
    VIDEO_TS.VOB->Win_IO readable
    VTS_01_O.BUP->Win_Io readable
    VTS_01_O.IFO->Win_IO raedable
    VTS_01_o.VOB->Win_IO locked!
    done

    Then this box movbes to the middle of the screen saying:

    Some files are still locked!

    Try to unlock with a player

    Abort Retry Ignore

    I have Shrink/Decrypter on my laptop preforming without any problems. I have ASPI installed on my LT. Any help!!

    Go to the thread below and follow the instructions. Download aspichk and check you aspi layer first and then after you've used forceaspi 1.8.
