I'm new here, but I was wondering if anyone can provide the instructions on how to burn the snes and nes emulator for the ps2 on cd. Do the roms have to have it's own folder? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
hey there, put all the files (INSALL, SYSTEM, SNES_EMU.elf) on the cd but not in a folder. You can put the roms in a folder if you want it really doesnt matter. As long as its on the cd you can access it. Use good media to avoid burning problems and remember that you needed a modded PS2! duh 1st post Shuttsies
I used Nero...i heard it was like the worst thing to use because of bugs stopping certain files to be burnt but it used nero and it works fine! Good media is more of an issue for me.
Does the swap magic cd disc work for loading a cd with the snes emulator. I did burn it successfully with nero, but it does not seem to load when I use swap magic. Do i need an actual mod chip to get this working, or am I doing something wrong here?
No backups will work unless the console is modded in one way or another (slidecard/fliptop/modchip etc). I recommend modchips as they are easier to deal with, see here for ideas: http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/24151
I used the swap magic cd to boot up the ps2 using the slide card but when i swap the burned cd it doesn't load. Is there anything that i'm doing wrong here?
