Which version of AOL is installed on your Laptop, 9.0a, or 9.0b?

Do you have the AOL CD, or are you downloading the AOL software?

Is your connection speed Dial-up, or broadband?

What version of Windows is installed on the laptop, WinXP or Vista?

After you uninstall the AOL software from ADD/REMOVE PROGRAMS. Go to START> SEARCH> ALL FILES AND FOLDERS> Type AOL. Delete any AOL entry that was installed on or after the date you first installed the software. Be careful want you remove! Read the entries and check the dates. If it's something your not sure of, leave it. Remove any multiple copies or double entries.
