SO CONFUSED!!! :( :(

    OK so here it is, i need someone to explain this to me in the simplest of ways cause I'm about to lose my mind here, i have a movie, its in avi format, and i have a dvd+r (yes i have a drive that can write to them), i want to movie on the dvd+r, every forum I've look at so far are confusing and people keep going off topic, so again..... i want an avi movie on a dvd+r disc. PLEASE HELP!!!!

    If you have a standalone player that can play DivX files (it's in the manual), then the file can be burned to the disk as a simple data file.

    If the standalone player can only play DVD movies, then the AVI has to be converted to DVD Movie format using a program like FAVC or DVD Flick.

    In either case a program like ImgBurn is used to burn the files to disk.
