So Far, So Good ...But.......

First off, thanks to all who contribute to the stickied "How To" threads. Brilliant!
My son in law gave me his old XBOX to play around with and with the help provided here I now have a softmodded box that streams movies from my NAS Box.
I have got around most problems with the help of the tutorials my remaining problem being that I just don't understand how to make XBMC my default startup option (it's my age you know)..........
I used SID4 and put UnleashX on originally, then FTP'd a copy of XBMC into a separate folder in E/APPS and run it as an app. but I would really prefer it to start on bootup.

P.S. if anybody is interested PC World have XPLoder cables in the bargain bin for 49p

If I were you I'd download the latest version of Auto Installer Deluxe (AID) and resoftmod the xbox. You should be able to enable xbmc to boot. Just follow any standard tutorial using an AID disc and you shouldn't have any problems.

Make sure you have your eeprom backed up before you do anything though.
