Hey all... now i know that these are getting phased out but i really need a replacement motherboard for my system and this time im trying to steer cleer of ASRock.

I need a Socket A board that has a 400MHz FSB and SATA capabilities,

the only boards i can seem to find only have the 333MHz FSB

Doesn't NewEgg, or TigerDirect ship to the UK?

    Computer Geeks ships internationally.

They still have a few Socket A mobos there...you could also check PriceWatch...they'll have listings of boards still available.

just an update, i went to a comp shop the other day and i asked if they had any socket a motherboards that had SATA and the 400MHz fsb i was after, and they had one (so i thought) it was an ABIT AN7 Nforce 2 board and it was £45 (which was ok i thought)

anyway i got it home, put it in my case and when i came to plug in the SATA drive, i noticed there were no SATA ports, not only that but it had the wrong manual, no I/0 slot cover for the back of the case. IT wasnt even the same board as it said on the Box !!!!!

The cheeky bastards had sold me a 2nd hand motherboard that wasnt even the one i wanted.

obviously i went back and demnded a refund and had a good old shout at the guy whod tried to rip me off and i shopped them in for illegally selling the Threepay network sim cards :p

so 2 warnings here, firstly check the contents of you motherboard box if you buy it from a small computer shop, and secondly dont try to sell me dodgy goods cuz youll end up regretting it :p
